Business Solutions Association Announces Recipients of the 2016-2017 Scholarship Awards
BALTIMORE, MARYLAND (JUN. 17, 2016) -- The Business Solutions Association Educational Foundation announces the winners of the 2016 scholarship competition. The foundation provides annual financial support to outstanding students affiliated with the office products industry to assist them with the cost of their college education.
“Once again, for our 2016 scholarships, we selected well-qualified and talented recipients,” said BSA Educational Foundation President Jim O’Brien. “It’s always a difficult task when we are charged with narrowing the applications to just award finalists. There are so many deserving individuals with a genuine need and while we wish there was some way we could acknowledge everyone with a scholarship, that’s not possible. With this financial assistance from BSA, we hope these winners can pursue and achieve their educational goals.”

2016 BSA Scholarship ProgramApplication Process for 2016
Candidates must have graduated from high school or its equivalent before July 1st of the year in which they will use the scholarship. They must have sufficient academic records to be accepted by an accredited college, university or technical institute. Students already in college are also eligible to apply.
Judges will take into consideration academic success, interest, special abilities, financial need and other factors in arriving at their choice of scholarship recipients. Without attempting to limit a choice of career the applicant may choose, the judges will give consideration to the degree in which the career choice could have an application to the business products industry.
The person applying for the scholarship must complete this four-page application form and mail it, along with any attachments to the BSA address shown below. Mail as early as you can. BSA must have the application, transcripts and reference letters by March 21, 2016. Please use typewriter or ball point pen. If you need more space to answer a question, use a blank piece of paper. Be sure your name appears on all attachments and particularly anything mailed to BSA separately.
